Thank you so much, Randy and Kathleen! I would not have ended up with so many opportunities as a reporter if it weren't for you both. The positive feedback that I received from my reel was unbelievable. Within a week of sending out my resume tape, nine different news directors reached out to me for interviews. Because of American Broadcast Talent and my tape, I received five job offers as an MMJ and started as a reporter in a top 90 market. Randy's advice and encouragement not only throughout filming my reel, but throughout the entire job application and interview process got me to where I am today. Randy's knowledge of all the different stations and news markets is also beneficial in the decision-making process. Randy and Kathleen know how to compile the reel to make it exactly what news stations want.

Thank you, Randy and Kathleen, for all your help. After graduating from college I knew my skills were ready but my reel didn't show everything I could do. I reached out to American Broadcast Talent for advice on my reel. Randy gave me great advice, saying that he loved my work but agreed it wasn't a reel that all news directors would take a second look at. I decided to work with them and wow was I impressed. Randy and Kathleen shot, edited and produced a great reel for me. Within three weeks of sending out my new reel, I had 3 news directors call me and I ended up choosing WTOK in Meridian Mississippi as the Weekend Sports Anchor. Thank you again, I couldn't have done this without y'all.

LANDON MCBRIDE/SPORTS ANCHOR KTVF-TV NBC Fairbanks, AK
I had looked for a job for more than a year without having any luck, not even an interview before. I was a little skeptical at first when I heard about American Broadcast Talent but after talking to Randy, I did it and it paid off quickly. The demo tape they helped me make looked amazing but this isn't just a place to go make a demo tape. Afterward they gave me a places to look for jobs and whenever I had an interview I could call Randy and he would go through what types of questions I might be asked. After a few months of sending out my demo I got a job as a reporter/sports anchor.
I just want to say thanks again for all the help. |

"Thank you for all that you've done for me. I appreciate all the time you both spent in helping me further my career. When I arrived at your studio, it felt like I was at my old TV station where I used to work. Your studio is top notch with state of the art equipment, and I must say that you both delivered 110% of what you promised.
Kathleen, I sincerely appreciate your assistance in helping me decide which outfit to wear for each take. You made me feel very comfortable being so kind and patient with any questions I had. Randy, your knowledge is incredible when it comes to perfecting an on-air delivery. What I learned from you exceeds any of my prior |
experience including college. You also spent time teaching me about the process when applying for jobs. I never realized how important it is to follow up with News Directors and how many job websites there are out there. I have always been the type to ask a lot of questions, and you answered each one thoroughly. You opened up my eyes to the process of landing a job. I think you should write a book some day on how to get an on-air job in TV.
Above all -- you kept your word of being there for me if I had any questions about anything. You recommended that I call you before speaking with my potential employer, and I'm more than happy that I did! That means so much that you actually care about me as an individual in helping me follow my dreams. All I had to do was give you a call, and even if you were out in the field shooting video, you would promptly respond back with a phone call.
I will definitely stay in touch with you both as I continue to further my career. The next time I'm in Orlando, I would love to get lunch and catch up! Thanks again for everything."
