Over
20 years ago, I graduated from Arizona State University. I had a
couple of internships and some college radio experience while attending.
Back then, The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism did not care if you
had a resume tape upon graduation. We barley had video equipment that
worked properly. You just graduated. It was a real struggle
to find that first on-air job. I quickly learned how important a
great resume tape was going to be for the rest of my broadcast career.
Luckily,
I never gave up looking for that first job. Since
graduation,
I have worked at wonderful television
stations around the country. From Tampa, Phoenix, Ft. Myers,
Tucson, Orlando and Las Vegas. I have worked for ABC, CBS and FOX.
And
my jobs over the years have enabled me to do something I love and enjoy!
Not to mention making a good living, meeting interesting and famous
people and traveling the world for interesting stories and events.
